We at The Noremac Group of Companies are committed to providing our customers with the safest services possible. Whether it be our concrete pumping division, bin disposal, or aggregate, our commitment includes:

  • CSTS Certification (Construction Safety Training System) for all field employees
  • Certificate of Recognition (COR)
  • Partners in Injury Reduction (PIR) that promotes health and safety through the combined efforts of the Workers Compensation Board (WCB)
  • Annual Non-Destructive Testing performed on all of our concrete pump booms as required by OH&S
  • Memberships with several associations such as ISNetworld, Concrete Alberta, Canadian Construction Association, ACPA/CPAC and many more

Our Company History

  • 1984

    The Beginning

    Noremac started as a concrete contractor and manufacturer of pipeline weights for the oil and gas industry with their head office in Edmonton, AB.

  • 1987

    First Concrete Pump

    Noremac purchased its first concrete pump to complement its existing placing and finishing division. As time went on, Noremac continued to expand their pumping services in Edmonton and the surrounding communities but they soon recognized a demand for a reputable concrete pumping contractor in the province of Saskatchewan.

  • 1995

    Expanded into Saskatoon, SK

    Noremac expanded into Saskatoon under the name, Noresask Pumping Inc.

  • 1996

    Expanded into Regina, SK

    Noresask opened another branch in Regina, SK. With increased demand for quality concrete pumping, Noremac began to focus mainly on the concrete pumping industry and decided to shift their interests from placing and finishing to increasing their fleet of pump trucks and involvement in industrial, commercial, and civil industrial sectors.

  • 2000

    Expanded into BC

    As construction activity continued to grow, Noremac expanded into British Columbia. In 2000, Norewest Pumping Inc. was established with its head office located in Kamloops, BC.

  • 2005

    Norewest providing an aggregate supply and delivery

    Norewest continued to expand by providing an aggregate supply and delivery service to its operation

  • 2008

    Satellite Branch in Merritt, BC

    Eventually another satellite branch was opened in Merritt in 2008.

  • 2017

    Disposal & Temporary Fencing Service in Kamloops, B.C.

    In 2017, Noremac identified an opportunity to expand its service offering for its clients in Kamloops, British Columbia. Consequently, Noremac purchased a local disposal business, in addition to adding a complementary temporary fencing service, for residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.

  • 2019

    Disposal & Temporary Fencing Service in Edmonton, Alberta

    After realizing the success of its disposal and fencing services in Kamloops, Noremac decided to add these services in Edmonton, Alberta. The response from the market has been overwhelmingly positive – such that Noremac continues to add to its inventory to keep up with demand, today.

  • 2021

    Portable Toilet Rental in Edmonton, Alberta

    Not long after adding its disposal and fence services in Edmonton, Noremac recognized that customers consistently requested portable toilets to compliment their fence and waste needs. As a result, Noremac quickly adapted and purchased the assets necessary to provide a high-quality portable toilet service.

  • 2021

    Satellite Branch in Salmon Arm, BC

    With the demand for both a high-quality concrete pumping contractor and a reliable disposal service in the Salmon Arm region, contractors from this area reached out to our Kamloops team in order to complete their projects in a timely efficient manner. The result was the opening of new branch with new equipment.
